Recept på nässelsoppa

Så här gjorde vi:
2 liter nässelskott förvälls i 1 liter vatten i ca 10 minuter. Häll nässlorna i en sil, men spara kokvattnet. Hacka nässlorna fint och häll tillbaka i kastrullen tillsammans med kokvattnet.
Häll också i en dl creme fraiche, en skvätt grädde, en grönsaksbuljongtärning. Krydda med vitpeppar och salt och servera med hårdkokt ägg.

I’m afraid they forgot to teach me kitchen words in school (or perhaps I was at home that day). Love my dictionary! Anyway, I hope this recepie is understandable.

So this is how we did the Stinging Nettle Soup:

Boil 2 litres of stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) sprouts in 1 litre of water for about 10 minutes. Pour the nettles in a strainer, but save the water. Chop the nettles and put them back in the saucepan together with the water, one dl crème fraiche, some cream, a vegetable broth and white pepper, add som salt if needed. Serve with hard-boiled eggs.
